Publishing Platforms for 2 Academic Conferences

Modelling Science Conference Website

Heraeus and Modelling Science are two interdisciplinary workshop series on the subject of measuring, visualising, and forecasting scholarly activities. Their websites were to provide a publishing platform to the participating researchers for all conference-related materials on the one hand. On the other, the researchers wanted to use their website as scientific microcosm and analyse the work published there over time.

Ksign was consulted by the development team to create a metadata model that would meet academic quotation criteria, provide adequate search and filtering options, and could be analysed empirically. We also designed the web presences as requested in a very “minimalist and academic” way that respected the corporate identities of both organising parties.

Both platforms run on Drupal.
